The RVR's Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is lightweight and compact, providing smooth and seamless acceleration.
LED daytime running lights, LED headlights and LED fog lights provide 24/7 enhanced visibility, no matter the weather conditions.
Blind Spot Warning (BSW)
When a vehicle is approaching your blind spot, a warning light in the corresponding side mirror illuminates. If your turn signal is also on, the warning light blinks and the system beeps three times, signifying it is unsafe to change lanes.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
The Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) system# detects vehicles approaching from either side while you're backing up. The warning lights on both side mirrors will blink, a buzzer will sound to alert you and a warning message will appear on the information screen of the multi-information colour display.
7-Airbag System
The RVR includes 7 standard airbags: dual front airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, side-impact curtain airbags (front and rear) and a seventh underneath the driver's side dashboard. After all, there’s no such thing as too much safety.
Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM)
The system utilizes both laser radar and camera technology to determine if a frontal collision is imminent. If so, it warns you with audible and visual signals, and automatically applies moderate to emergency braking to reduce the severity of the collision and, if possible, prevent the collision altogether.
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
The system uses an onboard camera to monitor lane position in front of the vehicle, providing audible and visual alerts if it detects your vehicle leaving the lane unintentionally.
Rain Sensing Wipers
Standard rain-sensing windshield wipers activate at the first drop of rain and adjust to match the rainfall – so you can keep your eyes on the road.

The 2.0 L MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve-timing Electronic Control) engine balances a maximum horsepower of 148 with low fuel consumption for a smooth, efficient drive. For even more power, the SE AWC trim and above feature a 2.4 L version of the MIVEC 4-cylinder engine, with 168 horsepower. Each engine is combined with an efficient Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) for responsive power and effortless cruising.
